WASHED OUT in the AM is the way to go

WASHED OUT reminds me of the poor mans version of the Cocteau Twins with more of a dance beat in some strange way. This EP has been in steady rotation the past few weeks and the songs below just ooze cheesy lo-fi pop that is heavy on the electronics. “Feel It Around” is so damn smooth that it should be a soundtrack to some sort of underwater swim scene. In fact, I had no idea they had shot a video (below) for “Feel It Around” and they pretty much stole my idea! All kidding aside Washed Out (Ernest Greene) pour on a heavy dose of synthpop thats will kill on a Sunday morning with the headphones on.
