Jumping on the SLEIGH BELLS Bandwagon

My Typical synical self thought, “oh great, another hipster band that  just listened to a VICE comp, have a new mac laptop, so lets start a band and hope converse and american apparel float us some sponsor money” before listening to this Brooklyn band. But I must admit that this album is pretty rad. It’s LOUD, has some pop elements spread throughout along with some rather cool and pounding synth noises and beats. They’re not exactly an electronic band, nor a pop band…this one’s tough. It’s a bold comparison, but they sort of remind me of M.I.A. “Infinity Guitars” has a simple yet heavy beat and is a bit brash, while “Rill Rill” is a bit hypnotic and pop friendly.
