You’ve Probably heard this ISIS tune already…

This is actually the “single” from the album, and honestly it’s fucking fantastic. This band has always kept me interested as the music is sonically amazing in comparison to their earlier stuff on Robotic Empire and Neurot EPs as well as their last few full lengths such as In The Absence of Truth (2006) and Panopticon (2004). Although classified often as metal I believe Isis have possibly progressed to a prog-rock Tool-esque type of a band, which is NOT a bad thing! Either way, the only thing that tends to bug me are the vocals that I can bare with. However, I think their albums would be better as instrument only (or at least release a version that way). I must also add that Aaron Turner’s (front man, lead vox) design and artwork for each album are always stellar…
